Strathallan Castle is the perfect venue for the most special wedding you have always dreamed about. The secluded grounds and surrounding woodland will ensure your privacy while providing a stunning backdrop for your ceremony and photographs. Whether you are planning a large lavish reception in a marquee, or a smaller more intimate wedding in the Castle, we will be happy to help create your perfect day.

Strathallan can exclusively accommodate weddings for a small intimate gathering for a few guests, or for up to 70 guests using the main entertaining rooms within the Castle itself. For larger gatherings, the beautiful lawns around the Castle make the ideal setting for a marquee.

Ceremony

From the relaxed ambience of the Library with its roaring log fires, to the grand splendour of the Drawing Room, the elegant reception rooms will be at your disposal.

Locally there are a number of beautiful churches, including Tullibardine Chapel, one of Scotland's most complete and unaltered small medieval churches. It is situated on the Estate but owned by Historic Scotland. The beautiful churches of St Kessog's in Auchterarder and Fowlis Wester are close by.

The Castle has a civil license, and if you wish you can hold your ceremony here. The Drawing Room and Library are both available to use as your ceremony room. If the weather permits, you may wish the ceremony to take place in the extensive grounds of the Castle.

Reception

The elegant reception rooms are also at your disposal for your Reception. The Castle will be exclusively yours for the day, allowing complete privacy in a comfortable atmosphere within a truly exceptional family home.

For your wedding reception, the Drawing Room within the Castle can comfortably accommodate up to 70 guests. Smaller more intimate weddings can be held in the Dining Room.

The croquet lawn at the back of the Castle is an ideal location for a marquee, where you can entertain up to 300 guests. We use a highly reputable local company to supply the marquees and our dedicated team would be delighted to help with your individual requirements.

I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you and Anna for letting us use her home on Saturday evening, it was an immense privilege for us.
Everyone, without exception, had a lovely time, it was that much more special being in someone's home and everyone hugely appreciated it. They were also very impressed by how the castle was lit as the coach drew near - it just looked magical against the night sky.
